Badenoch & Strathspey Map
Trailmaps Badenoch & Strathspey Map in the Cairngorms National Park.
Almost 20 years to the day after we sold the first Strathspey map at Bothy Bikes, the new Badenoch & Strathspey map is ready. From an A4 sheet that covered Aviemore to Glenmore the map has grown to cover a vast area nearly 2000 sq km from Laggan to Glenlivet and Tomatin to the new Glen Feshie to Glen Tromie link track.
Now printed at a size of 62 x 32 cm and folded into a compact size of 18 x 8 cm the map shows and grades all the known cycling trails in the north and west part of the Cairngorms National Park. There are clearly annotated suggested routes and hazards such as locked gates are shown.
Many thanks to David Keegan (Bothy Bikes) and Nash Mason (Ride Scotland) who both contributed their knowledge of the trails to produce the final version of the map. Also thanks to the suggestions made by Paul McGreal of Durty Events and Douglas Carchrie, the Badenoch & Strathspey Trail Development Coordinator. Finally many thanks to David Ritchie of a4 Design and Print for all his help and suggestions for the final printed version of the new map.
